The Best Lip Treatment In The World

Lucas Papaw Ointment!

Lucas Papaw Ointment is one of those ‘miracle balms’ similar to Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, but in my opinion it is FAR better.

For $9.99 NZD, you get a 25g tube which will honestly last you forever. It has this really nice light smell, which I love, because honestly that’s the one thing that bugged me the most about 8 Hour Cream – I can’t stand the smell of it!
I actually first bought this because a few friends had recommended it for my dry, cracked lips. I figured it would be like any other lip balm I had tried before, but nothing compares to this! It is so unbelievably moisturising, my lips have literally never been as soft as they are now. I can admit to being totally addicted to this now and really think everyone should check this stuff out, especially if like me, you’ve found it hard to get a decent lip treatment.

But of course, this is a miracle balm and has many other uses! It can be used as a topical application on:

  • Boils
  • Bruises
  • Burns
  • Chafings
  • Cuts
  • Cysts
  • Dry and cracked skin on hands and feet
  • Gravel rash
  • Heat rash
  • Insect stings
  • Mosquito bites
  • Open wounds
  • Pimples
  • Scalds
  • Sunburn
  • Swelling associated with injury
  • Splinters and thorns
  • Tinea
  • Whitlow
  • Nappy rash
  • Dermatitis and eczema – for temporary relief

I’ve also heard of people using it for coldsores, moisturising cuticles and as an eyebrow gel/gloss.

This stuff really is amazing and should definitely be a part of your first aid kit as well as your makeup bag!

Hope you’ve found this helpful!
And thanks for viewing!

  1. I read that they used this on keira knightly in the duchess, they mixed it with lipstick to make a natural lipstain.I found a place that ship's it,I am definately going to try it.

  2. Wow! I didn't know that! That's pretty awesome :o
Yay! I hope you love it as much as I do! oxo

  3. I wanna try this! Where did you buy it from? I've never heard of it before.

  4. It's in pharmacies all over New Zealand, which is where I got it. It's Australian made and I'm not entirely sure if it's available in the US, but you could probably find somewhere online that'll ship there! :) oxo

  5. That stuff looks great. i like multi-use products as they are so much easier to travel with!

  6. It really is quite amazing stuff! :)
I like multi-use products too, so great when you have one product that does almost everything and yeah it does make traveling a lot easier! :D
