Lucas Papaw Ointment!

Lucas Papaw Ointment is one of those ‘miracle balms’ similar to Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, but in my opinion it is FAR better.
For $9.99 NZD, you get a 25g tube which will honestly last you forever. It has this really nice light smell, which I love, because honestly that’s the one thing that bugged me the most about 8 Hour Cream – I can’t stand the smell of it!
I actually first bought this because a few friends had recommended it for my dry, cracked lips. I figured it would be like any other lip balm I had tried before, but nothing compares to this! It is so unbelievably moisturising, my lips have literally never been as soft as they are now. I can admit to being totally addicted to this now and really think everyone should check this stuff out, especially if like me, you’ve found it hard to get a decent lip treatment.
But of course, this is a miracle balm and has many other uses! It can be used as a topical application on:
- Boils
 - Bruises
 - Burns
 - Chafings
 - Cuts
 - Cysts
 - Dry and cracked skin on hands and feet
 - Gravel rash
 - Heat rash
 - Insect stings
 - Mosquito bites
 - Open wounds
 - Pimples
 - Scalds
 - Sunburn
 - Swelling associated with injury
 - Splinters and thorns
 - Tinea
 - Whitlow
 - Nappy rash
 - Dermatitis and eczema – for temporary relief

I’ve also heard of people using it for coldsores, moisturising cuticles and as an eyebrow gel/gloss.
This stuff really is amazing and should definitely be a part of your first aid kit as well as your makeup bag!
Hope you’ve found this helpful!
And thanks for viewing!

ReplyDeleteYay! I hope you love it as much as I do! oxo
I wanna try this! Where did you buy it from? I've never heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteIt's in pharmacies all over New Zealand, which is where I got it. It's Australian made and I'm not entirely sure if it's available in the US, but you could probably find somewhere online that'll ship there! :) oxo
